Logs
The LOGS tab shows the output of the branch's Odoo instance. You can follow it live while you reproduce a problem, or search past logs over a given period.
LOGS tab of a production or staging branch. Available to every collaborator on the project.

A badge at the top of the tab shows the current mode: LIVE MODE or HISTORICAL MODE.
Follow logs live
LIVE MODE (pulsing green dot) is the default. New lines appear as soon as the instance writes them.
- When the tab opens, it shows Connecting to log stream....
- If the stream stops, the message Stream ended: … gives the reason.
- If the connection fails, the message Log Connection Failed is shown: reload the tab.
Search past logs
- Open the period picker:
- pick a start (Start time) and end (End time) date and time in the calendar;
- or click a shortcut, Last 3h, Last 6h or Last 9h: the search runs immediately.
- In Limit:, set the maximum number of lines to show (1 to 5000, 100 by default).
- Click Search. The tab switches to HISTORICAL MODE and shows Fetching historical logs from … to ….
- To narrow the results, type some text in Filter results... (for example
ERRORor a module name): only the lines that contain it stay visible. - To go back to live logs, click Resume Live.
The period cannot exceed 30 days. The log history kept is shorter, though: for an older period, the search may return No logs found for this period.

Copy or export logs
