Access and team
How do I add someone who does not have an account yet?
There is no e-mail invitation: the person must exist in Karizma One first.
- Ask them to sign in once at
https://app.karizma.onewith Google, Microsoft, GitLab or GitHub. Their account is created automatically on that first sign-in. - Then contact your Karizma representative so they add the person to the project.
- The person gets the Tester role by default. For another role, tell your Karizma representative.
Where did the old "Organization Settings" go?
Karizma One has no organization page. What it used to hold now lives here:
| Old location | Today |
|---|---|
| Members and teams | Per project, managed by the Karizma team: contact your Karizma representative (Roles and permissions) |
| BI Access | Per project, managed by the Karizma team: contact your Karizma representative |
| Git connection (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) | In your profile, Connected Accounts page (Profile) |
| Subscription | Per project (Subscription) |
| Environments | The branch stages (production, staging, development) on the project page (Branches) |
Servers are managed by the Karizma team; contact your Karizma representative for any question about them.
Branches and environments
I can't see the SHELL tab, or it is greyed out
The terminal is reserved to the Super Admin role, and only exists on production and staging branches. If you are an Admin, Developer or Tester, the SHELL tab is greyed out. On a development or migration branch, it does not appear. See Shell.
I can't edit code in the Web IDE
You need both:
- a Developer, Admin or Super Admin role (a Tester can only read);
- a Web IDE Access that covers the branch's environment (for example Prod + Staging). With No access, the Web IDE is read-only.
To change your Web IDE Access, contact your Karizma representative. See Web IDE.
How do I get more stagings?
The number of stagings allowed is set for each project; you cannot change it yourself. Once the limit is reached, deploying a staging fails with Maximum number of staging environments reached for this project.
To get more:
- buy extra stagings with the Stagings resource in Settings › Integrations › Services (Upgrade to raise the quantity), see Resources;
- or contact your Karizma representative.
You can also free a slot by destroying an unused staging: drag its branch from STAGING to DEVELOPMENT. See Branches and environments.
How do I restore a backup?
Restoring is reserved to the Super Admin and Admin roles.
- Open the BACKUP tab of the production branch or of a staging.
- On the backup's row, click the Restore icon.
- In Restore Backup Into, pick the target database: you can restore a production backup into a staging.
- Confirm, then type
<branch> - <environment>as asked and click Yes, restore it.
The target database is replaced. An e-mail lets you know when the restore is done. A Filestore Only backup cannot be restored. See Backups.
How do I sign in to Odoo as administrator?
Click Connect at the top of the branch page (the button is green when the production or staging branch is deployed):
- on a staging, you are signed in as administrator automatically;
- on production, automatic sign-in is reserved to Super Admins, Admins and collaborators whose Auto-Connect is Enabled; otherwise, the Odoo login page opens.
The menu next to Connect offers Connect As to sign in as another Odoo user. See Branches and environments.
Subscription and billing
My project shows "Expired": what should I do?
The project's subscription has expired: the branch list and most actions are disabled. There is no renew button in the application: pay the renewal request you received by e-mail, or contact your Karizma representative, who extends the subscription once the payment is confirmed. See Subscription, services and credits.
How do I buy and pay for a service?
In Settings › Integrations › Services, click the service, pick a tier, then a payment method and Confirm & Pay. For a bank transfer, the Order Confirmed screen gives the reference to include and the bank details; the service is activated once Karizma has confirmed the transfer. Online payment goes through Berexia's secure payment page. See Subscription, services and credits.
Account
I no longer receive e-mails from Karizma One
Check the Email Notifications switch in your profile: when off, it stops activity e-mails (added to a project, deployment finished, restore finished…). Order and renewal e-mails are sent in any case. See Notifications.
How do I change my password or turn on two-factor authentication?
Karizma One has no password of its own: you sign in with Google, Microsoft, GitLab or GitHub. Change your password and turn on two-factor authentication at that provider. You can link several providers to your account from Profile › Connected Accounts. See Sign in and Profile and connected accounts.
