Barid Pay
The Barid Pay service lets your Odoo instance take payments with Barid Pay. It is set up per Odoo company: for each one, you pick a bank journal, create a merchant account, then its cashiers and payment terminals.
Access
Settings › Integrations › Services, the Barid Pay card. Available to the project's Super Admin and Admin roles.
Add Barid Pay to a company
Barid Pay is bought company by company.
- Open the Barid Pay card, then click Add Barid To New Company.
- Follow the purchase wizard: pick the Odoo company (Select Company), the plan, then the payment method (see Buy a service).
Until a company is set up, the page shows No companies provisioned yet.
Set up a company
Select the company in the list, then follow the steps in order.
- Bank Journal: pick the Odoo bank journal attached to the Barid Pay payment method. This choice is locked after the first sync. If no journal is listed, create a journal of type Bank for this company in Odoo (Accounting › Configuration › Journals), then come back to the page.
- Merchant account: click Create Merchant and fill in its identity (name, e-mail, phone) and bank details (UNP, IBAN). The merchant card then shows the UNP, IBAN, Bank UID and Partner UID; click Sync to Odoo to send this information to Odoo.
- Cashiers and terminals: under the merchant card, the Cashiers tab lets you create cashiers (e-mail login and description), and the Terminals tab payment terminals (name, serial number, MCC code and description). A terminal is activated with its activation code through Activate Terminal.
